Alex Hill

Alex is an award-winning composer, producer and percussionist, creating distinctive music and sound for screen, film and brands.

He has written and recorded scores for major broadcasters including the BBC, Channel 4, ITV and Netflix, alongside high-profile online branding campaigns and award-winning independent films.

Alex’s background as a touring session drummer, sound engineer and producer has exposed him to a wide range of genres, instruments and playing styles. This experience allows him to approach each project with a fresh, original perspective, combining live performance, recording and production to create music that is always distinctive .

Recent projects have included recording string sections at Abbey Road, performing and sampling acoustic instruments in his home studio, and programming analogue synthesisers. His work is characterised by meticulous attention to detail and a unique, evolving sound palette.

Alex also works alongside a number of global production libraries.
